Made to last, repairable by design and centered on care for our planet - our herb strippers bring a beautiful moment of mindfulness to a simple cooking ritual.
Each one is made from an intentionally selected hardwood and designed to showcase the beauty of the grain and natural color variations within the wood. After meticulous shaping with various tools, I carefully hand sand each one for optimal ergonomic comfort.
Food-safe finish is applied to keep water from penetrating the wood, but like all wood, avoid putting it in the dishwasher to maximize the life span and condition. If you notice it’s not repelling water as well after persistent use, wash it clean with a mild soap and then give it a good soak in food-safe mineral oil to refresh the finish!
