Designer Consultation
Work with one of our designers to discuss your vision for your piece, your style, and what is most important to you. Our designers will talk you through a comprehensive layout of the project to capture your vision and ensure it is carried through each aspect of your piece: from dimensions to material selections, color tone, finish and style. This custom piece will be in your home and in your family for years to come; we want it to be a reflection of your taste.
Material Selection
During in-person consultations, you will have the opportunity to handle samples of different woods and finish options to help you make material selections by engaging all of your senses. If an in-person consultation is not an option due to distance, you can use our materials gallery to guide your selections. From there, we will select materials based on your consultation and provide you with pictures and a small sample of your specific tree with finish applied to provide you the opportunity to make changes in your design before we start building.
Wood Species
Nature makes the wood, we make it beautiful - and just for you! All of our trees are hardwood species to ensure durability and longevity. Each species offers its own unique aesthetic, from color to grain pattern and density. Hardwoods require less maintenance and are less prone to scratches and dings, making them the perfect choice for heirloom pieces.
Finishes
All of our finishes are high-quality and food-safe; the same finishes we use for our own family heirlooms. We offer a wide variety of finishes, each with their own unique properties and benefits. During our consultation, we will help you select the best finish to suit your needs and aesthetic desires. We will also provide you care instructions specific to the finish you select so you can keep your piece in pristine condition for generations to come.
Pricing and Payment
Consultations for custom made tables are provided for a $500 charge that can go towards the cost of your finished table. If you have a set price-range, we can customize options so you can pick and choose to invest in the parts of your project that are most important to you. For example, we offer varying types of legs that start at $100 or extend to $500 depending on the complexity and materials you wish to use. Otherwise, pricing will be dependent on the size of your piece, types of wood chosen, and the scope of your design.
A 25% deposit will be due at your approval of provided designs and samples, with your final payment due prior to shipping or local delivery.
